Some people think that there is nothing wrong with playing computer games, whereas others do not agree. They believe that computer games are a big waste of time and teens should stay away from playing them.

I think that computer games are not as bad as some people may believe. First of all, there are a lot of educational games that help people to study. Students can master many skills including languages and mathematics playing those games. Second, there are games that develop one's logical thinking. They give them intellectual tasks and analyze their answers. Those games also help students (to) relax after a hard school day.

At the same time there are people who think that computer games are useless. People play “shoot them all” games all day long and forget about studying at all.

Well, there are people who become addicted to playing computer games nevertheless, the percent of such people is not high. There are plenty computer games that teach students useful things, which are really helpful if they are played properly.

In conclusion, I would like to say that a lot of things can be misused and turned from something useful into something useless or even harmful and computer games are not an exception. Computer games might look useless, but in actual fact they are educational, relaxing and even therapeutic. Thus, I strongly believe that these games bring more good than bad.
