I think that watching television is really popular. First of all, it is the easiest way for parents to have some rest. They just run a cartoon and go to do their chores. Second, children like watching television. There are a lot of children entertaiment programs nowadays. Children also learn about new things through watching children channels.

At the same time there are people who say that playing computer games are more popular. This activity is interactive that is why it grips children’s consciousness much stronger.

I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above for a particular reason. These are two the most popular activities among children, nevertheless, watching television is the easiest way to occupy children’s attention. It is for free while one has to pay for good computer games. Computer games also might be addictive, due to this a lot of parents restrict their children from playing them.

In conclusion, I would like to say that watching television is the most popular way to spend time among children. I also strongly believe that parents should restrict them from watching too much, since it does have its negative side effects. Constantly watching TV might cause some trouble with a viewer's eyesight. It can have a bad influence on children’s imagination as well.
