Some people think that life-long friendships exists only theoretically, whereas others do not agree. They believe that this kind of friendship exists in real life.

In my opinion a life-long friendship can exist in real life. First of all, it is a part of human nature to have friends with whom one can share all their thoughts, successes and troubles. For example, a person in trouble comes and talks to his or her friendand then they feel relieved and satisfied. Secondly, often book and film stories are written and made based on real events. For instance, a life-long friendship touched a writer or a film director and then they produce a movie about it. 

Moreover, there are also a lot of life-long friendship examples around that even I have known.

At the same time there are people who say that all these stories about long friendship are made up and nothing can last forever, including friendship.

I cannot agree with the opinion mentioned above for a particular reason. There are some not real stories, nevertheless, I believe that friendship can last as long as people live. Actually, it is natural to have friends for long and I believe that quarrels are not natural for people.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight friendship cannot last forever as many things around but in actual fact if people are open and honest with each other, they can be friends till the end of their days. Thus, I strongly believe long-life friendship is natural and real.
