1. Population and capital.

Pakistan is a large country in South Asia with a population of about 255 million people. The capital of the country is Islamabad. The largest city in Pakistan by population is Karachi.

2. Religion.

Most of Pakistan's population practices Islam. Pakistan is an Islamic republic, and Islam plays an important role in the country's culture, traditions, and public life. Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and followers of other religions also live in the country.

3. Islamabad.

Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan and one of the country's main political and administrative centers. Government institutions, the parliament, and official residences of the country's leaders are located there.

4. Lahore Fort.

Lahore Fort is one of Pakistan's most famous landmarks. It is located in the city of Lahore and was extensively rebuilt during the Mughal Empire. The famous Shalimar Gardens are nearby, and both sites are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

5. The Indus.

The Indus is the largest and most important river in Pakistan. It flows through much of the country and is extremely important for agriculture, water supply, and the lives of the population. The Indus Valley is considered one of the world's oldest centers of civilization.

6. Independence.

Pakistan gained independence from Great Britain in 1947. One of the country's main founders was Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who is known in Pakistan as the Father of the Nation.

In northern Pakistan are the Karakoram Mountains, one of the highest mountain systems in the world. K2, the second-highest mountain on Earth, is located there. This region is known for its high peaks, glaciers, and scenic mountain valleys.

The national currency of Pakistan is the Pakistani rupee.

9. Geographical location.

Pakistan is located in South Asia. It borders Iran and Afghanistan to the west, China to the north, and India to the east. Pakistan is washed by the Arabian Sea to the south, which is part of the Indian Ocean.
