ARMENIA

1. Population and Capital.

Armenia is a country in the South Caucasus with a population of about 3 million people. The capital of the country is Yerevan. The largest city in Armenia by population is Yerevan.

2. Religion.

The most widespread religion in Armenia is Christianity. Most believers belong to the Armenian Apostolic Church. Armenia is traditionally considered the first country to adopt Christianity as its state religion.

3. Yerevan.

Yerevan is the capital of Armenia and the country's main political, economic, and cultural center. It is home to the main government institutions, universities, museums, and cultural centers.

4. Mount Aragats.

Mount Aragats is the highest mountain in modern-day Armenia and one of the country's main natural attractions. It is about 4,090 meters high.

5. Lake Sevan.

Lake Sevan is the largest lake in Armenia and one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in Eurasia. It is located at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level.

6. Echmiadzin.

Echmiadzin is one of the most important historical and religious centers of Armenia. It is home to the Echmiadzin Cathedral, the main cathedral of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The cathedral and its associated historical monuments are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

7. Armenian Culture.

Armenian culture has a centuries-old history and rich traditions. The Armenian language and writing system, folk music, dances, crafts, and national cuisine all play an important role in the country's culture.

8. Currency.

The official currency of Armenia is the Armenian dram.

9. Geographical Location.

Armenia is located in Western Asia, in the South Caucasus. The country borders Georgia to the north, Azerbaijan to the east, Iran to the south, and Turkey to the west. Armenia is a landlocked country.
