3. Jerusalem.

Masada is an ancient fortress on top of a rocky plateau near the Dead Sea. It was built and greatly expanded during the reign of King Herod and is one of Israel's most famous historical sites. Masada is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

7. Israeli culture.

Israeli culture developed under the influence of Jewish traditions and the cultures of different peoples living in the country. Music, literature, religious and national holidays, art, and national cuisine play an important role in the country's culture.

8. Currency.

The official currency of Israel is the Israeli new shekel.

9. Geographical location.

Israel is located in Western Asia, on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean Sea. It borders Lebanon to the north, Syria to the northeast, Jordan to the east, and Egypt to the southwest. Israel is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the west and has access to the Red Sea through the Gulf of Aqaba in the south.
