1. Population and Capital.

Saudi Arabia is a country in Western Asia with a population of about 35 million people. The capital of the country is Riyadh. The largest city in Saudi Arabia by population is Riyadh.

2. Religion.

The official and most widespread religion in Saudi Arabia is Islam. Most Saudi citizens are Sunni Muslims, and there is also a Shia minority. Saudi Arabia has a special role in the Islamic world because it is home to the two holiest cities in Islam — Mecca and Medina.

3. Mecca.

Mecca is the holiest city in Islam and the birthplace of the Prophet Muhammad. It is home to the Grand Mosque and the Kaaba, the most sacred site in Islam. Every year, millions of Muslims from around the world travel to Mecca to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

4. Medina.

Medina is the second holiest city in Islam. It is home to the Prophet's Mosque, where the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad is located. Medina played a very important role in the early history of Islam.

5. Rub' al Khali Desert.

Rub' al Khali is a vast sandy desert in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula, a large part of which lies in Saudi Arabia. It is one of the largest continuous sand deserts in the world and is known for its enormous sand dunes and harsh climate.

6. AlUla.

AlUla is a historic region in northwestern Saudi Arabia, known for its ancient settlements, rock formations, and archaeological sites. It is home to Hegra, an ancient Nabataean city and the first site in Saudi Arabia to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

7. Saudi Culture.

Saudi culture is closely connected with Islamic and Arab traditions. Family, hospitality, traditional clothing, Arabic music and poetry, religious holidays, and national cuisine all play an important role in the country's culture.

8. Currency.

The official currency of Saudi Arabia is the Saudi riyal.

9. Geographical Location.

Saudi Arabia is located in Western Asia and occupies most of the Arabian Peninsula. It borders Jordan, Iraq, and Kuwait to the north, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to the east, Oman to the southeast, and Yemen to the south. The country is bordered by the Red Sea to the west and the Persian Gulf to the east.
