It goes without saying that fast food has become an integral part of modern life. Some people say that people’s life has improved with the invention of fast food, whereas others believe that easy-to-prepare food has made people’s life even worse. 

In my opinion, fast food is a very useful invention that has improved the way people live. First of all, people save a lot of time since they do not need to spend much time on cooking. For example, one can satisfy his or her hanger for a few minutes buying food in fast-food restaurants or cafes. Secondly, easy-to-prepare food can save people’s money because this kind of food is cheap. 

At the same time, there are people who think that fast food has made many people's lives worse. To begin with, fast food has a negative effect on digestion and as a result many people suffer from stomach problems. What is more, frozen and processed foods appear to have a direct link to many forms of stomach and colon cancers. 

Personally, I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. It is not true people's lives have become worse because of semi-finished products and dishes made of them. Nowadays there are a lot of technologies and methods that allow people cook good quality and easy – to – prepare food. If we talk about fast-food restaurants, there are a lot of good dishes served there too.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight, fast food seems to have a negative impact on people’s lives, but in actual fact easy-to-prepare food saves people’s time and money. Thus, I strongly believe that easy-to-prepare food has improved the way people live.
