Some people believe that in order to receive a good education a person ought to study overseas, whereas others do not agree. They consider national education better.

In my opinion, one can get an excellent education in his or her own country. First of all, studying in a native country is cheaper. For example, in order to obtain the same skills and proficiency a person will spend much less money comparing with studying abroad. Secondly, if a person goes somewhere to study, their learning efficiency drops. For instance, any new culture takes a lot of time to get used to it. As a result students lose their focus and the quality of education falls down.

At the same time, there are people who think that a good education can only be received in a foreign country. They claim that countries with better economical situations provide their students with a better education.

I do not agree with the opinion above. The quality of education does not have a straight positive correlation with economical situations. There are a lot of other factors that create good economical situations.

In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing view points on this issue. At first sight good education can be only received abroad. But in actual fact, national state universities can provide an excellent education as well. The result also depends on a person’s diligence and skills. Thus, I strongly believe that studying in one’s own country is not worse than abroad.
