1. Population and capital.

Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia with a population of about 35 million people. The capital of the country is Kuala Lumpur, while the administrative center of the government is located in Putrajaya.

2. Religion.

The official religion of Malaysia is Islam. Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, and traditional Chinese beliefs are also widely practiced in the country.

3. Kuala Lumpur.

Kuala Lumpur is the capital and largest city of Malaysia. It is known for its modern skyscrapers, large shopping centers, and the famous Petronas Towers.

4. Petronas Towers.

The Petronas Towers are one of the main symbols of Malaysia. The twin towers are 452 meters tall, located in the center of Kuala Lumpur, and connected by a skybridge.

5. Borneo.

Malaysia consists of two main parts separated by the South China Sea. The western part is located on the Malay Peninsula, while East Malaysia is located on the island of Borneo.

6. Strait of Malacca.

The Strait of Malacca runs between the Malay Peninsula and the island of Sumatra. It is one of the most important maritime trade routes in the world, connecting the Indian Ocean with the South China Sea.

7. Tropical rainforests.

Malaysia is known for its ancient tropical rainforests and rich flora and fauna. Orangutans, Malayan tigers, elephants, and many other rare animals live there.

8. Currency.

The national currency of Malaysia is the Malaysian ringgit.

9. Geographical location.

Malaysia has an unusual geographical location: the country is divided by the South China Sea into two parts. West Malaysia borders Thailand, while East Malaysia on the island of Borneo borders Indonesia and Brunei.
