1. Population and capital.

Myanmar is a country in Southeast Asia with a population of about 55 million people. The capital of the country is Naypyidaw, while the largest city is Yangon.

2. Religion.

The main religion in Myanmar is Buddhism. Most people in the country are Buddhists, and numerous pagodas, monasteries, and statues of Buddha are an important part of Myanmar's culture.

3. Bagan.

Bagan is an ancient city and one of Myanmar's main attractions. Thousands of Buddhist temples, pagodas, and stupas built many centuries ago can still be seen across its vast plains.

4. Shwedagon Pagoda.

Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon is one of the most famous Buddhist sacred sites in Myanmar. Its enormous golden stupa rises almost 100 meters and is considered one of the symbols of the country.

5. Inle Lake.

Inle Lake is famous for its villages on the water, floating gardens, and fishermen who traditionally row their boats by wrapping one leg around the oar.

6. Golden Rock.

Golden Rock is a famous Buddhist sacred site in Myanmar. The enormous gold-covered boulder sits on the edge of a mountain cliff and looks as if it could fall at any moment.

7. Mandalay.

Mandalay is one of the largest cities in Myanmar and a former royal capital. The city is famous for its Royal Palace, Buddhist monasteries, and ancient temples.

8. Currency.

The national currency of Myanmar is the kyat.

9. Traditional clothing.

The longyi is traditional clothing worn by both men and women in Myanmar. It is a long piece of fabric wrapped around the waist like a skirt.
