P.S. Middle East and Western Asia are not exactly the same concepts. Western Asia is a geographical region that includes 18 countries and territories: Turkey, Cyprus, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Middle East is a historical-geographical and political region with slightly different borders. Usually it includes about 15–17 countries, including Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Egypt. Egypt, however, is predominantly located in Africa, not Asia. The exact composition of the Middle East may vary depending on the classification used.
So: Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Cyprus belong to Western Asia, but are usually not included in the Middle East. Conversely, Egypt belongs to the Middle East, but not to Western Asia.
