	Music and film piracy has caused a massive fall in CD sales all over the world. CDs cost too much, that’s why people buy pirate CDs or download from the Internet. The record companies must make the first move and reduce the price of CDs so that more people will buy them.

Some people say that if the CDs or movies on DVDs cost less there would not be any piracy whereas others don’t agree.

I think that time of CDs and DVD shave forever gone. First of all, people like to listen to music on their phones or players in mp3 format. It’s comfortable and it’s easy to get. Second, CDs are not comfortable to use because CD players are quite big compare with other gadgets. You can also scratch a CD or DVD easily and won’t be able to listen or watch it.

At the same time there are people who say that the quality of music on CDs or DVDs are higher and the only thing that stops people from buying them is too high price.

In my opinion these people have a point. The quality is better because of a special format of recording. Yet, it’s not vinyl discs or blue rays. The quality is a little bit better, which can be heard only on good professional players, but the troubles with using them overweigh the advantages.

In conclusion, I'd like to say that even if the companies make the price cheaper people still won’t buy CDs or DVDs because the digital technologies go further and people change their habits to listen to music and watch films too. The reason is not the piracy.
