Daniel in the Lion’s Den

daniel lions den
God protected Daniel in the lions’ den.

Daniel served in the court of the Persian king and was known for his wisdom and faithfulness to God. Jealous men convinced the king to make a law forbidding anyone to pray to anyone but him. But Daniel continued to pray to God every day.

Because of this, he was thrown into a den of lions. However, the Lord sent an angel and shut the mouths of the lions. In the morning, the king saw Daniel alive and recognized the power of God.

Main Idea:
Faithfulness to God is more important than fear of people. Those who trust the Lord are under His protection.
