Noah and the Flood: People turned evil, but Noah was righteous. God sent a flood to judge sin, yet saved Noah, his family, and animals in the ark. Afterward, He gave the rainbow as a promise never to flood the earth again.

Noah and the Flood

noah and the flood
Noah’s Ark and the rainbow covenant.

Over time, people became evil and forgot God. The earth was full of violence. But one man, Noah, was righteous before God. The Lord decided to punish people by sending a flood. He told Noah to build an ark to save his family and the animals from the coming flood.

When the waters covered the earth, the ark floated and preserved life. After the flood, God made a covenant with Noah and set a rainbow as a sign of His promise never to destroy the earth with a flood again.

Main Idea:
God judges evil, but He gives salvation to those who trust Him.
