You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend Georgia, who writes:
...Do your parents criticise you when you don't do well at school? Mine seem to put me under so much pressure. What can I do? Do you think I should tell them that it's making me unhappy? How can I explain to my parents how I feel? I try my best at school, but I just never seem to get top marks. Should I speak to a teacher?
Write back soon with your advice.

Thank you very much for your letter. It’s so nice to get it.
My parents criticize me quite often because of my marks at school as well. I think that you should tell your parents that you are trying your best but the results are not excellent yet.
If I were you, I would also talk to your teacher and ask about the ways to improve your marks. I hope she will help you.
I am sorry to hear that you are under pressure by your parents.
How exactly do your parents pressure you? Does your teacher treat you objectively? Are there a lot of people with bad marks in your class?
I have to help my mom now. I will write you later.
