The most widespread religion in Kazakhstan is Islam. Most Muslims in the country are Sunni. Christianity, mainly Russian Orthodoxy, is also widespread in Kazakhstan.

3. Astana.

Astana is the capital of Kazakhstan and one of the country's main political, economic, and cultural centers. It is home to major government institutions, the parliament, universities, museums, and cultural centers.

4. Charyn Canyon.

5. Irtysh River.

The Irtysh is one of the largest rivers in Kazakhstan. It flows through China, Kazakhstan, and Russia. The total length of the river is about 4,248 kilometers.

6. Kazakh Khanate.

In the 15th century, the Kazakh Khanate was founded. It played an important role in the formation of the Kazakh people and their statehood. The khanate existed in Central Asia for several centuries.

7. Nomadic culture.

For many centuries, nomadic culture was an important part of Kazakh life. Traditional livestock farming, horseback riding, and living in yurts had a major influence on the culture, traditions, and way of life of the Kazakh people.
