Introduction

I think that my favorite subject at school is history. I am still studying at school.

Example 1

First of all, I think that one should know his/her history well. I believe that present history comes from its past. Analyzing and understanding mistakes that your and other countries made give you a chance not to make them again. As a Russian I try not to be very impulsive since it’s a thing that is typical for most Russians.

Example 2

Second, I learn positive experiences of other countries and enrich my own experience. Reading about the wisdom of, say, Abraham Lincoln I unwillingly adopt some part of it. Lincoln got most of his education himself. Knowing that, I am not afraid to learn, for example, the Chinese language myself.

Conclusion

So that’s why I think that history is my favorite subject.
