You have 20 min to do this task. You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen friend John, who writes: |
...It's difficult for me to get on well with my parents. They think that I spend too much time hanging around with my friends so we often argue about it. And what do you do when you disagree with your parents about how you spend your free time? Do you often meet your friends? What do you usually do together? Oh, I've got to go now as I have to meet my sister from her music class. Drop me a line when you can. |

Write back to John. In your letter: |

Dear John,
I've just received your letter a few days ago and I’ve been trying to write you back ever since. I’ve been really busy lately. I am sorry to hear that you are not getting along well with your parents about it.
Actually, my parents bug me about it too. I hate it because I think I have a right to manage my own time. I try to tell my parents that I am old enough to handle my things. Every evening, when I get tired of learning, I meet my friends and we play football or basketball. It’s the way we rest.
Are you getting along with your sister well? What do you do when she doesn’t listen to you? Do you use any punishment?
I have to run and help my mom with the diner.
Write me soon!
Love,
Slava
