Taking photos is my hobby. If I have an opportunity to take a good picture, I never miss it. I have a picture to show you.

This photo was taken a few years ago at my cousin’s apartment that is not so far from my house.

In the photo you can see my cousin Liza in her room with an easel in front of her. Liza is a beautiful girl. She is wearing a red sweater and dark jeans. There is painting on a special painter’s stand and there are some paints on the small chair.

Liza is sitting on a chair and painting a picture. Now she is trying to find the correct color to use next. The picture looks like some fantasy which is her favorite style. She’s sitting not far from the window to get enough light.

I keep this photo in my album because she looks really focused and cute here. I like to see her like this.

I've decided to show you this picture because you once told me that you would like to learn to paint. So I thought Liza could give you some good advice or even lessons. She is good at painting.

In the photo you can see my aunt Liza and her daughter Olga. Olga is dressed in a light colored blouse and dark jeans. Her hair is fair colored. Aunt Liza is dressed in a gray blouse and light colored jeans. She is wearing her hair up in a bob. You also can see some drapes in the background.

Aunt Liza is teaching Olga how to play the guitar. Olga is playing several chords and Aunt Liza is giving comments about her playing. Liza's hands are crossed on her knees. They are sitting on a sofa.

I keep this photo in my album because everybody looks really focused and cute here. I like to see them like this. One day Olga will become a famous guitar player and she will be glad to see this photo.

You know, Aunt Liza is a good musician and teacher. I've decided to show you this picture because you once told me that you would like to learn to play the guitar. So I thought she could give you some good advice or even lessons.

In the photo you can see my aunt Liza, her husband Oleg and my little cousins Ivan and Liza. My mom is dressed in a T-shirt and jeans. My dad is wearing trousers and a golf T-shirt.

My parents are sitting on the sofa smiling and looking at my brother and sister who are lying on the white carpet and watching television. The TV set is on the coffee table. Oleg and Liza are lying on their bellies holding their heads on the hands bent at the elbows. Their legs are bent at the knees and pulled back.

I keep this photo in my album because everybody looks really happy and cute here. I like to see them like this. Everybody is laughing and smiling.

I've decided to show you this picture because you once told me that you little brother Slava has no friends and he feels lonely. So I thought he could meet Ivan and Liza and they will make good friends.

This photo was taken a few years ago in London not so far from Big Ben tower.

● what / who is in the photo

In the photo you can see Big Ben tower, the Thames river and a bridge. The picture was taken at sundown so the lights that highlight the tower make it look fantastic. On the right from Big Ben you can see a building in gothic style with two  square columns. 

● what is happening

In the picture you can see a wonderful tower called Big Ben. The Thames river is flowing fast and a green bridge across it makes the view even more attractive. The sun has just set and everything seems beautiful and mysterious.

● why you keep the photo in your album

I keep this photo in my album because it reminds me what a wonderful time we had there. It was my first time in London. I had a lot of fun.

● why you decided to show the picture to your friend

I decided to show this picture to you because once you told me that you want to go somewhere to an English speaking country and now you have a choice between London and New York. So if I were you, I would choose London.

This photo was taken a few years ago at our grandparents’ house, in the kitchen.

● what / who is in the photo

In the photo you can see my little brother Oleg and sister Liza with our grandparents. Everybody is dressed in holiday clothes. My grandparents’ hair is grey while my brother’s and sister’s hair is brown. In the background you can see a white painted wall.

● what is happening

Liza was having her birthday and my grandparents baked a cake for her. My grandma sliced the cake into pieces and offered Liza a piece of it. They are both holding a cake-knife and grandma is teaching her how to distribute the cake among guests. Oleg is holding the cake-stand for the cake to not let it fall down. My grandpa is holding his hand over Oleg’s to help him.

I keep this photo in my album because it reminds me what a wonderful party it was. Everybody looks so cute and happy.

You know, I’ve decided to show this picture to you because once you told me that you wanted to learn how to cook cakes. I thought that my grandma could teach you how to do it well. Her cakes are fantastic.
