Some people think that it is important to teach children to write beautifully, whereas others do no agree. They consider beautiful handwriting a useless skill to waste time to develop better.

In my opinion, it is important for children to write beautifully. First of all, beautiful handwriting develops an aesthetic perception in a person. For example, those who write beautifully arrange everything around them in a very pleasant way to look at. Secondly, learning how to write wonderfully takes a lot of time and effort. It means that a person has to develop patience and discipline to obtain this result. In turn, beautiful handwriting will improve results in learning other subjects better since good qualities from disciplined skill-building tend to transfer from one subject to another.

At the same time there are some people who say that nobody writes by using a pen anymore. Everybody types so very soon people will give up writing by hand altogether.

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. Even if people write less nowadays, it is important to teach children to write beautifully by the hand. It develops other skills really well.

In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing view points on this issue. At first sight studying beautiful handwriting is useless, but in actual fact, if a person looks closer, it is really beneficial for the full development of every child. Thus, I strongly believe children should be taught to write beautifully.
