Some people consider reading books as the best way to enjoy its plot, whereas others do not agree. They prefer watching movies to reading books.

In my opinion, reading a book is more informative than watching a movie. First of all, when a person reads a book, he or she learns more details. For example, an author describes a tower and spends a few pages to talk about it for the story. In the movie it is often just shown for a few seconds. Secondly, it is a scientific fact that reading develops imagination. For example, a person imagines everything they read in their own way. When people watch a movie, they see the movie director’s perceptionof the script version of a book it is based on.

At the same time, there are people who think that watching movies is better. They say it takes less time and it is more interesting.

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. After reading a book people remember its plot for many years, while after watching a movie they often forget it after a few weeks.

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight watching movies is more interesting and entertaining, but in actual fact it leaves less lasting strong impressions in the viewer’s mind. Thus, I strongly believe that reading books is better than watching movies.
