Some people think that to be good at computers is the base of any job, whereas others do not agree. They consider it a useless skill. 

In my opinion, computer literacy is one of the most important skills one can have to be successful. First of all, computers have become an integral part of people’s lives. Whatever a person does at work or at home they have to deal with digital technologies. For example, people pay bills, order food on-line, or buy tickets by using different computer gadgets. Secondly, if a person wants to get a job, he or she needs to fill in a form before being interviewed. For instance, each application form always has a question about one’s level of computer literacy. If a person answers that they have a low level of computer literacy, the chances of getting that job is low.

At the same time there are people who think that one can do without computers very well. These people think that they can run a business or pay bills without computers.

I do not agree with the opinion mentioned above. Without using digital technologies a person’s efficiency will be much lower. They will spend much more time performing simple operations.

In conclusion, I would like to say there are opposing view points on this issue. At first sight digital literacy does not have a direct connection to success but in actual fact it is one of the most important skills a modern person can have. Thus, I strongly believe that being good at computers is the base of a successful occupation of any person.
