Задание № 1

В этом задании вам необходимо прочитать правильно текст, не допустив ошибок. Давайте разберём это задание на демоверсии 2018года.

Время выполнения – не дольше 2 минуты
Балы за это задание – 2 балла

Task 1

You are going to read the text aloud. You have 1.5 minutes to read the text silently, and then be ready to read it aloud. Remember that you will not have more than 2 minutes for reading aloud.

The Black Sea is one of the favourite tourist destinations. It is popular with young people, families with children, and elderly couples. The mild climate and wonderful scenery make Black Sea holidays a very pleasant pastime. Another good thing about it is that the waters of the sea are quite safe. Though it is deep (some areas have a depth of 2200 metres), there are no dangerous creatures like sharks or poisonous jelly-fish in its waters. The Black Sea, however, has a lot of mysteries. The name is one of them. It is believed to have appeared in the 13th century, but there are different explanations of the name's meaning. Some scientists suppose that it means 'inhospitable', the others say black denotes the direction — the sea to the north.

Task 2

You are going to take part in a telephone survey. You have to answer the six questions. Give full answers to the questions. Remember that you have 40 seconds to answer each question.

Electronic assistant: Hello! It’s the electronic assistant of the Dolphin Sports Club. We kindly ask you to take part in our survey. We need to find out how people feel about doing sports in our region. Please answer six questions. The survey is anonymous – you don’t have to give your name. So, let’s get started.

Electronic assistant: Do you do sports activities on weekdays? What sports do you do?

Student: Well, I do sports activities on weekdays. I play football 2 times a week. I also play basketball one time a week. Sometimes instead of basketball we play volleyball.

Electronic assistant: What is your favorite pastime?
Student: I think that my favorite pastime is playing sports or computer games. These two hobbies of mine give me much pleasure. Sport makes my body stronger and computer games relax me after studying at school.

Electronic assistant: How much time do you spend on your homework?
Student: Frankly speaking, I can’t tell you the exact time because every day is different. It depends on the day and month. In each quarter my homework takes more time in the beginning than at the end of the quarter. I would say about one hour a day on average.

Electronic assistant: What would you like to change in your daily routine?
Student: Actually, my daily routine is quite satisfactory now but, there are a few things that I would change. This is my wake-up time and my go-to-bed time. Often, I wake up too late then I don’t have enough time to eat my breakfast properly. I also go to bed too late and don’t get enough sleep.

Electronic assistant: What would you recommend teenagers do to spend their time effectively?

Student: As for efficiency of teens’ time, I would recommend planning. If I have many things to do I start planning my time and it really helps.

Вам необходимо построить связное монологическое высказывание на определённую тему с опорой на план. Время на подготовку – 1,5 минуты.

Подготовка – 1.5 минуты
Время ответа – 2 минуты (10 - 12 предложений)
Балы за это задание – 7 баллов

Task 3

You are going to give a talk about learning English. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

Remember to say:

● what the advantages of living in the city are;

● why some people want to live in the country, far away from the city;

● where you would like to live (in the city or in the country) if you could move house.

You have to talk continuously.

ВАШ ВОЗМОЖНЫЙ ОТВЕТ:

Some people prefer living in a city, whereas other choose villages.

I think that living in the city has many advantages. First of all, new technological things come to cities first and only later do they get to smaller towns and villages. In cities there are people with different interests and you can easily find friends who share the same interests. Salaries are usually higher in cities than smaller towns and villages.

Cities have some disadvantages as well, like air pollution and bad traffic. It can also be too noisy and crowded in cities. Also, people are more money oriented. That’s why some people don’t like to live in cities and prefer villages.

I’ve been living in a city all my life. I know the rules here and feel quite comfortable. So, I would like to live in a city. I like big cities with all their advantages and disadvantages.

That’s all I wanted to say.
