Introduction

Two friends are discussing how the man can solve his problem with the report. His computer broke down and he doesn’t have enough time to finish his report.

Examples

He has two choices that the woman suggests. The first one is to pay extra to the help desk. The second one is to talk to his professor about his problem and get an extension. Personally, I would choose the first variant. Because it has more chances of success. It might be fixed easily. I would not want to risk failure of the report by relying on his teacher's decision. The man gives an example how a girl in his class tried to get an extension from his teacher because she was hospitalized. She got no extension because the professor said that it would not be fair to the other students.

Conclusion

So that’s why I would pay extra and ask for help at the help desk.
