Robert Downey Jr. is an American actor, musician and producer. He was born on April 4, 1965 in Manhattan (New York City). He is the youngest of two children. His father, Robert Downey Sr., is a director, actor and producer. His mother - Elsie is also an actress. Robert has a sister, Allyson Downey.

He was 5 years old when then he first took part (1) in a film called "Pound" (1970), written and directed by his father. He started his carrier at the age of 20 in 1985 in the live American TV comedy show "Saturday Night Live".

Robert Downey Jr. was associated with (2) many scandals.
