About Julie Roberts (краткие биографические сведения)

Julia Roberts is an American actress and producer. She was born on October 28^th,1967 in the town of (1) Smyrna, in the state of Georgia. She has an older siblings (2) brother Erik and sister Lisa. Julia’s father sold water mattresses and at the same time was an actor and writer. He owned (3) an acting school. As a child, due to (5) her love of animals, Julia originally (6) wanted to be a veterinarian. Her parents divorced and her childhood was not easy. She had to work as a waitress from the age of 13.

Julia was impressed by the acting of Erik so she started taking part (7) in local amateur (8) performances. After finishing school Julia entered the University of Georgia and moved to New York where she started taking courses in acting. She also started working to normalize her American pronunciation. Her Southern accent was not good for acting.

Her first big movie break (9) came with the movie "Steel Magnolias" (1989) . Her next movie was called “$3000”, later renamed as “Pretty Woman” (1990) where a rich businessman needed a beautiful escort to important business functions for only one week with a prositute which "guaranteed" no relationship obligation (10) after the week ended. The main male character starred (11) Richard Geer, who was already a famous actor.

Being extreamly popular, Julia is not a classic beauty, so it means there's hope for everyone. When people think of her, they immediately (12) think of her huge loud laugh and her big smile.

Julia has 3 children, Hazel Patricia and twins Phinnaeus Walter Moder and Henry Daniel Moder.
