You have received a letter from your English-speaking pen-friend Alice who writes:

       Yesterday I went to the cinema with Sam — for the first time. I chose a romantic comedy. Sam fell asleep during the film, and I got angry. We quarreled. Do you think it was my fault — / had chosen the wrong film? Or was it Sam's fault? Do you ever quarrel with your friends, what about? Should I phone Sam or should I wait for him to do it?
Next week I have to take an exam in history...

       Dear Alice,

       Thanks for the letter Alice. Sorry I couldn’t write as I had to prepare for my exam.
It’s good you went to see one.

       Well, it wasn’t your fault, if Sam didn’t tell he doesn’t like romantic comedies. Sometimes, I quarrel with my friends over choice in music. I think you should phone Sam.

       What was the film’s name that you saw with Sam? Did you like the film? Do you love history?
