Some people say that to be stylish is a useless thing to do, whereas others do not agree. They say that fashion is really important for a person.

In my opinion, if a person follows some modern trends they lose several valuable things in life. First of all, it consumes a lot of time and energy. For example, such people go to different beauty salons and read a lot of fashion magazines.  Secondly, it takes a lot of money to keep yourself looking fashionably nice. For instance, good perfume and clothes cost a fortunate nowadays. Moreover, It is also a never-ending process because fashion changes frequently. 

At the same time, there are people who think that fashion makes a person feel better. Those who are dressed in brand new clothes have more respect in society. 

I cannot agree with the statement mentioned above. There are a lot of ways to get respect in society and fashion is not the first one. People more respect clever or responsible people and that has been proved in many scientific surveys. 

In conclusion, I would like to say that there are opposing views on this issue. At first sight following fashion trends is worth doing, but in actual fact it takes a lot of time and money without any substantial result. Thus, I strongly believe that one should invest their energy into something more interesting and productive.
