Morgan Freeman is an American actor, producer, and narrator. He was born on June 1st, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee. His mother, Mayme Edna, was a teacher. His father, Morgan Freeman Portfield, was a hairdresser. His family traveled a lot. They lived in 5 states.

Freeman made his debut at age 8 by playing a major (1) role in a school play. By the age of 12, he had already taken part in a radio show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Before becoming an actor, Morgan, worked as a clerk (2) and dancer in Los-Angeles and New-York.

In the early 1970s, Freeman became to known to a lot of people, thanks to his filming in the popular television series (3) "Electric company". After that, the actor disappeared for a long time.
