WHEN A MAN TAKES A WOMAN TO DINNER, SHOULD HE PAY OR SHOULD THEY GO "DUTCH"? (EACH PAYS FOR HIM/HERSELF.)

Introduction

I think that if a man takes a woman to dinner he should pay. It’s our tradition and I support it. There are two reasons for it.

Example 1

The first reason is that, in Russia, if a man takes a woman to dinner and then offers her to go dutch women don’t expect it and it is considered to be rude.

Example 2

Second, if a man says to a woman, “let’s go dutch”, she might not have enough money on her because she doesn’t expect it. She might feel embarrassed.

Conclusion

In conclusion I would like to say that if a man takes a woman to dinner he should pay but if the woman wants to go dutch he should agree to split the check.
