Personally, I think I would save it.

Example 1

First, I noticed that saving money gives me an opportunity to spend it better in the future. When I was a schoolboy my granny gave me 100 dollars as a present. It was really tempting to spend it the next day but I decided to wait for a while. In half a year I was able to buy a good used iPhone that I could not even dream about at that time.

Example 2

Second, I noticed that when I spend money right away I buy useless things. Spontaneous decisions let me down a lot of times. I bought some useless things on a market that I really regretted later. Saving money gives me an opportunity to think before making my decision.

Conclusion

So that’s why I prefer saving money to spending it as soon as possible.
