Pancake Day is celebrated in many countries of the world. Unlike Russia, this celebration in Europe and America lasts only one day. It takes place on Tuesday, called Pancake Tuesday.

In England, pancake races are held all over the country.

Woman taking part in them must wear an apron and a hat or scarf. Each of them has a frying pan containing a hot pancake. She must toss it three times during the race.
